Product Description：Sapphire Wafer
The sapphire wafer is a hexagonal single crystal material made of high purity alumina (Al2O3),  and has a high hardness, second only to diamond in natural materials.
First of all, the production technology of sapphire substrate is mature and the device quality is good; secondly, the stability of sapphire is very good, which can be used in the process of high temperature growth; finally, the mechanical strength of sapphire is high, easy to handle and clean. Therefore, most processes generally use sapphire as the substrate.
It is an ideal material for light-emitting diodes and laser diodes.
